In 2021–22 she was part of station+ Studio Arno Brandlhuber at the ETH Zurich. Together with five other actors from the fields of architecture, urbanism, research and communication, she initiated spaceforfuture.org in 2022. What does it mean to be an architect today? —was and still is one of the driving questions that has accompanied me since I studied architecture. The question turned into a tool to find out what drives me and where I can make an impact. However, questioning the narrowness of the term "architect" is not only a personal issue. 30% of ETHZ DARCH students are starting their first position outside of the classical profile of an architect after graduation. At the same time, profiles such as @dank.lloyd.wright et al. show how frustrated an entire generation of architects is about the myths and ideals that are still wildly celebrated in the field. This input is an exploration of current challenges in and beyond architecture as a practice, narrated through my own perspective.
