Kfir Gluzberg is a Toronto based architect and designer who founded Kilogram Studio in 2015. The studio designs places and objects that connect people and inspire wonder. His work looks at the relationship of the designer and fabricator, planning policy and the design of interiors as an extension of our Canadian urban environment. Gluzberg sees his role as architect and community leader, and extends his work into teaching, editing, and volunteerism. His instruction includes technical, theory, and studio based courses at Ryerson University and the Daniels Faculty of Architect at University of Toronto. Currently, his practice is researching design solutions for Canadian seniors’ housing with a focus on the LGBTQ+ community and new pathways to communal housing.
